I am in love with "Bunting Banners!" They are so fun and whimsical to me....anyways, they are easy to make either if you are a sewer, which I am not, so I made one out of scrapebooking paper!My daughter is away all week at her cousin's...first week long overnight 3 hrs away! So, my other daughter and myself thought we'd welcome her home with a surprise banner in her room. I hope she likes it!!!!
Here it is close up...she's a tween ,so I thought she'd did the skulls and crossbones! See her name on there....so cute!
Doesn't look like paper ....does it!?! I think it turned out well and it took me no time at all. I can imagine doing them for all sorts of holiday decorsHere is what you need:
I took a trip to MICHAELS CRAFT STORE
Pick up your choice of scrape booking paper...it's heavy duty so, it keeps it's shape well
string
glue
ruler
pencil
scissors
stickers if you desire a personal message!
Cut out triangles whatever size you want, small or large
fold edge over string with glue on fold and set to dry!!!
That easy!!!!
This is the glue I used. Martha Stewart all purpose glue stick and it works amazing!!! Dries fast and doesn't show thru.
What do you think? If I was a sewer, I'd be making all kinds of these....but this worked so well and took me no time at all......

I'm sure Zoe will love her banner! How fun! What a nice surprise to come home to. I love the paper idea. My daughter has made some with fabric, which are also easy to make. I may steal your paper idea and make some signs in my future vendor booth :).
