My Kitchen!

When we bought this old house I could see the potential in this 25x15 feet kitchen! It was a great space, but dated as you can see! Here are some before pics and some with the "in progress" going on.
This is from the view by the side door, when you walked in ,you walked right in to the fridge and as you can see the stove was beside the back door!
Can you say "UGLY"

Here is another angle , the far corner is where the kitchen is now! This kitchen had only 2 ceiling lights, which were huge fans....I dislike ceiling fans....so needless to say they are gone and we have lots of great lighting....

You can see the old cabinets here. This was the old island....

A good photo of the old cabinets prior to being taken out!!! Wow!!!
Below is the After.....
I am so happy with the way it turned out! We love it.....

This is my kitchen after ! We live in an old victorian farmhouse in the city. Around 130 yrs old. So, needless to say we have a lot to do here! The house has good bones and really is in good shape. But it takes so darn long and I'm not very patient, lol. Anyways, I'll try and post some before photos soon. We are still doing some finishing touches on this room, but overall I LOVE how it turned out!!!

I LOVE the island, it's so big and I had to have the microwave in it, as I hate seeing them on counters, and over stoves. Works well for us!!

I really LOVE the country feel and keeping with the style of the house, so casual, but pretty! I have something special for above the sink! Pics to follow......
LOVE, the stove, so awesome!!!! We are so happy to have gone with a custom builder as we would never have got everything that we wanted. Dove-tail joinery and wood, build to last and very good quality!!!

Hope you like it too!!!
