My daughter is obsessed with pirates! So today was finally her party...She had a blast and I'm sure the others did too. These were our loot bags and inside is everything a pirate should need. Very cute! We had the party at a place called,"PLAYSTREET", seems to be the happening place if your 5 or 6....fine by me!
This was my attempt at a centre piece....kids loved it...I had to dig into my halloween bin.
Awww, look at that smile! She was so happy....I wish she didn't have to grow up!!!
Mya, the birthday girl! Her actual birthday isn't until the 2nd of July! So, I can hold on to my 5 yr old a little longer!
And if you missed my other post about the invites, here they are again.....adorable and free from the internet!
I love all things beautiful and enjoy being creative.I have always liked old homes and their amazing character that they have.
We bought a 130 yr old farmhouse in the city that we are fixing up as we speak. So, I hope to find inspiration and joy from it.
I have always loved old homes and buildings. I finally found an old home in the city, close to work and good schools. It is 130 yrs old,but is in pretty good shape structurally.Lots of character, high ceilings, and charm. But it needs updating, so I am documenting our renos. Hopefully, I do this house proud and it turns out the way I intend. One thing I have learned is things dont' happen as fast as I would like...I have to be patient ,and living through messes aren't so great for me ! As my husband always says,"You have to break an egg to make an Omelette!"
Hope you enjoy my journey!
