This cookbook was given to me by my hubby's nanny when we got married! It was old and tattered when I got it...I thought she really must worry that I can't cook and need to look after this boy.....well I have to tell you, it saved me so many times. It has the best recipes and so easy to follow. Its everyday things and if I'm thinking of how to cook something, it's always in here. She obviously knew something I didn't .....Smart woman eh!!!!
Well, I had a basket of Ontario Peaches that I needed to do something with, so I decided on a Peach crumble! So easy to make! Mya was my official de-pitter! lol.....
What you need:
Peach Crumble
Awesome ripe peaches or any fruit you desire
1 cup rolled oats..I always use more
1 cup flower
half cup of brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 quarter tsp nutmeg
half cup butter or margarine
vanilla to taste
dash of salt
Butter dish ,add fruit, combine dry ingrediants, add butter, mix until crumbly add vanilla.Sprinkle over fruit.Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Serve warm! Enjoy....
I made Pad Thai for the main dish. It was so amazingly yummy and incredibly easy! I used a jar of Pad Thai President Choice sauce. Rice noodles, and mixed veggies . That's it! Oh and some parmasean cheese on top!
Don't forget the ice-cream on top! Doesn't it look good? Hope you try it.....
Everything looks delicious! Now I'm hungry, lol!
